The AutismLM digital marketing plan provided me with practical experience in creating a robust digital strategy. It was an excellent opportunity to learn how to leverage online platforms and tools to build brand awareness and improve engagement. Here are the primary lessons I gained:

  1. Website Optimization: Conducting a website audit revealed the importance of simplifying layouts, improving navigation, and ensuring responsiveness across devices. I learned how technical SEO—like optimizing images and meta descriptions—directly influences user experience and search rankings.

  2. Social Media Strategy: Developing a consistent content calendar and using tools like Canva to maintain branding taught me how to craft impactful, original posts that reflect a brand’s mission. Platforms like TikTok and Instagram were leveraged for video content to engage with younger audiences effectively.

  3. Audience Insights: Understanding the target demographic—mothers, educators, and therapists—helped tailor content and promotional tactics. For example, sharing autism tips, family resources, and inspirational stories resonated well with the intended audience.

  4. Analytics and Adaptability: Utilizing tools like Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and A/B testing to refine strategies emphasized the importance of data-driven decisions and flexibility in long-term campaigns.

  5. SEO Integration: Incorporating focused keywords, creating engaging content, and building partnerships for backlinks were crucial in making AutismLM a trusted and visible resource online.

This project deepened my understanding of how to design and implement a cohesive digital marketing plan that not only enhances brand visibility but also drives meaningful engagement and growth.
